And I realized that I only loved one
The one who’s kindness, selflessness and over all greatness had won my heart.
And when I realized this my thoughts would turn to her on every occasion that they could.
As my thoughts began to stray they would only come to her.
Though her beauty was greater than any I had seen before
Twas’ not what had caused this magnification of feelings.
I had seldom heard her speak an unkind word about any.
But As I thought about the future
I knew my silent fears would come like a
Stop me from ever maintaining such a relation
And so I told her of my silent fears and we came to such conclusion
It would never last
And so we walked our separate ways
Years passed and she had not thought of our young love that we had left
I myself began to believe as she had that it was over and that relationship was part of the past
But years later when I forgot this part of my life we spoke again
Our friendship returned as did our love
And as it did so we realized in astonishing voices
We could not escape what feelings we had between us
