The shadows of night crept away, usual I had woke up long before my wife who lay next to me in the bed. I smiled looking at her auburn hair, to think I had found a person so beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside proved to me I had chosen the right woman. Ah, but to see her smile was a joy no man could understand, thus I devised my plan. Slipping quickly out of the bed I snuck to the kitchen.
My hands found the ingredients necessary as my mind reviewed the moments of happiness that I had had with my wife, I would be a fool to ever leave her much as a man would be a fool leaving heaven. I stirred up the batter until it was of the right consistency and then poured it onto the pan, which had been heating on the stove, in small circles that, would in a matter of less than ten minutes or so, would become pancakes. My heart felt warm, every beat a joy.
